Let your imagination run wild decorating your front porch, office, dorm room or windows with the theme “Peacocks United 202ONE.” Use the hashtag #UIUHomecoming to share your creativity.

Tuesday - September 28

Today’s Theme:  Camo Day!

Chalk It Up
Take part in this fun UIU tradition! Break out the sidewalk chalk and go wild with school spirit on your driveway or sidewalk. We want to see your creations – use the hashtag #UIUHomecoming to share your designs.

Art Reception
Bing-Davis Memorial Gallery | 3:30 – 5 P.M.
Featuring paintings and drawings by Assistant Professor of Art at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Stephanie Chambers. Refreshments will be served.

Welcome Home Dinner
Andres Atrium | 5:30 – 7:30 P.M.
This all-class reunion dinner is complimentary, hosted by the Alumni Association and is a perfect way to start the weekend. RSVP required.

Pep Rally, Coronation & Bonfire
Peacock Pavilion (tailgate area) | 7:30 P.M.
Don’t miss the crowning of this year’s royalty. (Dorman Gym is rain location.)

Homecoming Picnic

Join fellow Campus community members for a BBQ lunch served by Aramark from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Outdoor seating will be available. Cost is $6.50 or one meal swipe.

Research, Internship & Creative Endeavors

Join the School of Arts and Sciences in viewing student research project posters.

Ninth Annual President’s Fundraising Ball
Student Center Ballroom | 5:30 P.M. 
Go “Onward & Upward” with your Peacock family during an evening of fundraising and fellowship. Guests may enjoy a cocktail reception, dinner program and dancing. Tickets are $85 per person. $100 after Sept. 13. RSVP required. For more details, visit

Archives Takeaway Display & Social
Student Center | 8:30 A.M.
If you RSVP for the weekend, we will do our best to pull photos and articles from UIU Archives that you are featured in. In addition, this event can be a great opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni who may also be on campus to celebrate Homecoming. Coffee will be available for guests.

Alumni Awards & Honor Class Brunch
Student Center Ballroom | 9:30 A.M.
Alumni Award Honorees, Heritage Society Members and the 1971 Golden Anniversary classmates will be recognized. Special invite is extended to the class of 1970 for their “re-do reunion.” All alumni and guests are welcome to attend this complimentary brunch. RSVP required.

Peacock Pantry Food Drive
Student Center Ballroom  |  9:30 A.M.
Support this amazing student resource with a non-perishable food item or monetary donation. Bring items to the Brunch welcome table. Online donations may be made at Select the designation “Peacock Pantry.”

Peacock Show & Shine 
Dorman Parking Lot | 10 A.M. – Noon
Alumni and area community members are invited to show off their classic cars. Participants are also welcome to join in the parade immediately following.

Homecoming Parade
Downtown Fayette | Noon
All are invited to join a Peacock caravan through the streets of Fayette. (UTV/Golf carts are welcome). Lineup begins at 11 A.M. Click here to submit a parade entry.

Homecoming Football Game vs. Southwest Minnesota State University  
Harms-Eischeid Stadium | Kickoff at 3 P.M.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $5 for ages 5-18, and those under 5 are free. Come cheer on the Peacocks to a victory!
